hmm what has happened here in the last few days…
well I looked back… OMG
one thing major.. I totally did not post about.
Did I tell you about Ewenice and Kathlin?
I recently got 2 spinning wheels!!!!!
one is a Brand New Babe Production wheel and the other is one my Mother and I found at an estate sale.
Ewenice (the black one) & KathLin (the brown one)
purty EH? I think so.
and both work in different ways but are just as nice as the other… however I must admit I am much more comfortable sitting at Ewenice.
So I know my next one with for sure be a double treadle castle style wheel…. so NOT a fan of the single treadle.
but heck for the amount of money it costed for us to adopt KathLin… man you could not pass her up. So as my mom says…
even if it does not work… its a beautiful peice of furniture that means something to you… ahhh HA… but Kathlin works well. I dont know her age… but she was kept in pristine condition! a new band and alot of oil was all she needed to spin perfectly! so that brings my (well actually my mom bought it for me as my Bday gift) total cost was……… you ready….78.50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
11.00 of that was for her new bands… (hehehe I bought her pink ones)
Ok now about their names.
Ewenice… because babe wheels are known for their function over form… they are a face only a mother can love… they are not much to look at… well I wanted Eweniqua …. the biys hated it… they actually said Uni-cycle… so we kinda compromised to a real name.
(well thats actuall Eunice)
Then KathLin… Reed named her. When we walked out of the Estate sale I asked him what we would name her. he says…” How about KathLin, since Nana (my mom aka Kathy) bought the Wheel for you (me = Lindsay)”
Get it? Oh remember he is only 7. hehehe but thats ok, my mom and I lol so hard and said…”Well then her name is KathLin”
lets see what else…..
-Trey has been in school for a week now… he likes it. AND I just found out that one of my customers sons is in his class!! AND…
he is having a birthday party on Saturday. I am so excited… oh which reminds me I need to call Deb after this.
-Reed… loves his Teacher. He is a total sports nut. I actually have known his teacher for a long time.. we went to school together… hense on of the reasons we requested him.
AND… in March he will be out when their 3rd child is born…. SOOOOOOO
and I am so excited!! Reed’s teacher will be…. his current teachers Sister….. whom… I was on swim team with in HighSchool! Shelly is so awesome! I have not seen her in years so I am just excited she will be back in Sheboygan again (last I heard she was living in GB (oops Green Bay [lol college habit lol]). we are ssuper eexcited for that.
Alexis- she is a dandy… you know they say that gender traits are not inborn… but learned… ummm NO.. they are totally inborn.
She does so much more than the boys eever wwould dream of, and you know the funny thing… is when you sit back and analyze it…
its ssooooooooooooo gender drivin things she does that they never did. So hence… I have started to call her “Lil Momma”.
she is so cute , I can see myself in all the things she does. her dolls, everything.
I asked her today if she wwanted to be a mommy when she grew up and she says “YUP” (heeh yup is her fav word), then I asked her how many baby she will have… she says 3… I asked what they will be… she says…”2 girls 1 boy” dh and I lol so hard… just the opposite of here. I feel bad that she does not have nor ever will have a sister… but what can you do? 3 is good enough for me thu.
For me, school is going ok, this class is kinda borning, we are still in the summer sessions, but thats ok, after the mess we had IRL last session. its TOTALLY NICE to have a slower paced one. Our prof is funny.
she keeps ranting…”I dont want to know whats in the book… I want to know what your opionion is” I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE her!
omg but I totally have to get off of here…
I will see you in a few days when I post my tribute to my Dilly Bear (9/20/01)
