well I still have not managed to get my customers schedules seperated, so it a hair week again.
BUT when these weeks come about I have more structure to my day and accomplish ALOT.

I started on my first knit sock in months… my design…
which was inspired by my idea for birthstone stitch markers.

and the biggest feat!
I just finished my second math class this session. Devry runs their math classes as self paced, and you only need to register for 1! As long as you completly finish your extra classes within the 8 weeks…there is no charge!!!! wooo hooo
. Since I did not want to be slave to the pc on vacation my goal was to finish before we go. so I finished 032 within week 1…so I moved onto 092…finished that today. keep in mind we still are only in week 2!!!!
and now an debating on starting 114 before we leave or after we come back home.
BUT the best part is, this class (the one I registered for) does not end until 4/29! so it is totally possible (and probable) to finish 3 classes…
I love it buy one get 2 free!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and have 12 credits in 1 session!!!! LOVE IT!
now only 120 more credits to go
*sigh*
and an update on my gma. We still have not got the results back from mayo clinic so right now she is staying on the rehabilition side of the nursing home that my gpa lives at…which makes things interesting…but you just have to know them as a couple. lol
so I have to go there tomorrow and give gma a perm. they have the cutest beauty shop in there. When I worked at H.G. we also went to the nursing homes to do hair. I know you are sitting there going ugg. but it was sooo fun. I loved it. my main nursing home was Greendale but would fill in at Progressive (then Heritage) when someone was sick. so I know that shop well. I am excited as I know gma is. I hope I can help her as I know I did all the others. Theres just something about having your hair done that helps a person. I was a bit upset when my Dad told me I had to charge her the same as I would normally, I feel bad, but now that HSH is a legal business I have to. But I know gma will appreciate it either way, I just feel bad taking her money. granted ya I only charge her a family rate. but travel expense etc. guess I cant be giving everything away. Dad means well.
what else.
Leon took a turn for the worse. so he is at St. Mary’s right now. we will see what everyone has to say on Sunday at Lexi’s b-day party. Mom is taking gma and Uncle roy up there to see him tomorrow, so I hope to hear better details. but its not looking good.
oh And Carol’s funeral was very nice said my mil. its so funny after they flew back to Flordia they called right away and we had to chuckle. you really have to know the person Carol was. in December she had set her funeral arrangements. She specified she wanted the Charley Daniels band to play and everyone to eat drink and be merry. YUP! and thats what they did.
we will miss you Carol, but you just keep cracking those jokes up in heaven!!! I am glad that Dylan has you up there so he can know how great you ARE just as we do.
yup it all comes in 3’s.
but hopefully Gma, Leon and Carol are it for a bit.
