my gift to myself

many of you are aware of my dreaful job, well I have finally quit and it feels damn good!!

dh and I talked it over the other night and it basically comes down to money vs. stress.

And I an not there enough nor do I make enough to deal with this BS.

I was very surprised by my extended families reactions tonight. All the aunts, uncles, cousins, my grandma, parents etc, I told were jumping up and down saying…”FINALLY”

(well except gma she was almost crying, but thats a whole ‘nother issue lol..shes a dandy)

they are all well aware of the troubles so they were all quite pleased with dh and my decision.

Of course it helps that dh has got a second job, one he just loved, something he does for the love it of not the money (but every little bit helps).

So when we were talking we are going to wait until may and see what happens. he will be fully certified by the state and will get better jobs and higher pay.

because with that job (his part timer) it is extremly possible and easy to move thru the ranks, he is hoping to stick it out until I finish school, get a “REAL” job. An hopefully i can make equalvant to what he is making at Kohler and he can just do Special Ops full time…as a DETECTIVE!!! 2 family friends did the same thru there and they have nothing but EXCELLENT things to say about the job. So heck why not do something you love right? The pay is not to bad either, its just a bit more than what I was making at the Salon, so if you figure that on 40 hours, it is a decent check.

Then we will be ok.

So to do this I must keep my grades up in school. So far (before final grading) I am sitting with 93.88%…still a 4.0. hey cant ask for much better.

and that was while dealing with 3 small kids, a crappy job, house, etc.

So I say thats a postive outcome ;)

I cant wait for my second session to start the second week of January.

well have to get off now…

but to all those I wont see or talk to during the holidays………….

HAVE A

MERRY CHRISTMASS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
