ok Dad just called back and the first set of test came back ok. A bit of low blood sugar,weight loss and the fact that the women does not sit. all played in.

So they are givng her IV fluids to rehydrate her and get her levels back up.

this really bothers me just because I know from first hand experience with dh’s diabetis about the lows. It always amazes me how I can see the lows before he feels them, and with mom you think one of the other nurses would have said something. but in their defense it can get REAL busy up there.

So Dad said Mom is going to stay over night, the doctor is still running more tests just to be sure. because as much as we hate to get old the fact is she is getting to the age where more things tend to happen. They have a great doctor, we have seen him since …well forever. So he knows her well. Doctors and nurses make the worst patients so lol lol she will just have to deal with it.

I am thankful the first battery of tests went ok but I am still a bit hesitant because Dad did not know what other tests Dr. Pawlak was doing. So Dad is running back home now to get her some clothes and probably cross word puzzles or something.

I am sure all the girls are joking around with her mentioning how she gets to sleep at the hospital, but oh well. then she can see first hand if her job as admintrator is going right. lol

So all the newbies are under pressure to get it right. A blessing in disguise sort to say.

So please think happy thoughts for my mom and wish her well.

ok but now I really really got to get ready for work lol, I am running wayyyyyyy behind lol
